RNP: Work: Living with the Land
Forager/Grandmother: Stephanie Williams grew up harvesting wild plants for food and medicine and she teaches others to do the same.
Systems Engineer: Christian Milaster successfully demonstrated in his Project Licht 'n Stein "Green Model Home" that you can reduce your electrical bill by up to 90%, get your heating bill down to $100 a year, and cut your water usage in half - all without a sacrifice in comfort or convenience.
Trapper/Archaeologist: Matt Mattson is a biologist and experimental archaeologist with fur trade expertise. He is interested in applying historical agricultural knowledge to current land use issues with the goal of increased sustainability.
Environmental Artist: Alis Olsen is an artist who works with natural materials to create work that explores our relationship with the land. Her work connects us with the beauty of the earth as well as reminds us about the need to take care of its resources. Working both in the studio and with outdoor installations, she uses humor and irony to convey messages.
Woodworkers: Bill and Barb Godlin aren’t just builders, they are artists. From designing and installing log railings to building custom furniture, Bill and Barb make every project unique. They work closely with their clients to make sure their work reflects the homeowners' individual interests.
